The Back Office Accounting System (BOSS) is a specialized Accounting System for
Hospitality Industry / Service Oriented Companies. The System not only takes care
of your day-to-day accounting requirements but also gives a host of MIS Reports.
Statutory requirements are also met with and there are interfaces with other systems,
which enable the user to be up-to-date at all times.
The system is currently in use at a number of Hotels, Restaurants, Entertainment
Complexes, Construction Companies as well as in DOT.COM Companies.
The system has a lot of parameters, which can be turned off or on depending on the
enduser requirements, so that although the same system is installed for all the
above industries, the system becomes specific to the requirements of the particular

The systems are designed so as to become Industry Standard Systems. However, they
have a lot of Parameters that can be set as per the specific requirements of the
Individual Property or for the Group as a whole. This enables the user to use a
standard system but with their own individual requirements taken care of.

The systems are Powerful in its scope. All requirements can fit within the parameters
of the system. Reports are also designed to take care of the standard requirements.
There are facilities to export the reports to Spreadsheets for further analysis.

User Friendly :
Actual Users with lots of experience in the specific fields have primarily designed
the systems. The systems thus talk in the same language as the users are used to.
For e.g. Document Nos. are called as Voucher Nos. or Employee Code can be called
as Ticket No or Clock No.

Version Control :
The systems developed are having Version Controls so that regular updates can be
monitored and sent to the existing users.

Patches :
Patches are released in between version upgrades for minor modifications so that
the entire systems do not have to be updated. These patches can also do version
upgrades and immediate changes.

Security :
Security within the system is very powerful. Task Level security can be set up vis--vis
each user. Thus the Supervisory person can control what tasks his staff can handle
or which reports his staff can view or print.

Multi-user :
The systems are truly multi-user with record level locking enabled. This ensures
that all can view updates made by one operator but the data updation is restricted
to one operator only.

At every field of input, the user gets helpful messages to prompt him along the

On-Line Context Sensitive Help :
E-Help (Electronic Help) is always available on pressing the F1 key. This help is
context sensitive to the module you are in at the time of requesting for the help.
The entire Help Manual can also be printed out from the system.

On-line Validity :
Systems provide on-line check for valid input of data. If the user inputs erroneous
code, a list of valid codes pops up. Dates within ranges, negative amount etc are
also validated.

|
|
|
Queries :
On-line querying can be done from any module for certain critical information. This
helps the user to temporarily switch over to view/print a ledger account or employee
information from the module he is currently working in.

|
|
Report Printing :
There are quite a few options when printing Reports. Reports can be printed from
any page number to any page number. Depending on the width of the report, the same
report can be printed on 80/132 column stationery. Facility to print odd or even
pages exists. Number of copies to be printed can also be set. Report can be redirected
to any printer attached to the network.

Programmable Keys :
The user can set up macros or shortcuts for ease of data entry or often-repeated
tasks.

Online Calculator :
A calculator is available on-line so that the result of calculations which are performed
can be pasted into the relevant input field.

Support :
Downloading of latest upgrades and patches can be done by the registered clients
by selecting Download option from this site. However latest upgrades and patches
are send through Electronic Mail/floppies/Compact disc by courier to the registered
clients. We normally make at least one upgrade per annum and the upgrades are given
free of cost to all registered users who continue to sign our Annual Maintenance
Contracts.
